Anti-spam policy

Beluga Technologies, Inc. (Beluga) does not send unsolicited bulk email, and does not permit anyone to send it on our behalf. Mail from belugalabs.ai is written one-to-one: to creators at the address they published for sponsorship inquiries, and to brands who have not asked to hear from us. This policy says what we hold ourselves to and how to stop it. It applies to our employees, contractors and anyone acting for us, and covers every message sent from this domain.

What we send

We send sponsorship proposals to creators on behalf of named clients, and product proposals to brands we think it fits. Each message is addressed to one recipient, chosen for one specific reason by a person on our team. We do not send newsletters, announcements or promotions from this domain.

trybeluga.ai is our product and does not send outreach. Mail from it is covered by its own policy. If you are a creator who heard from us, our creators page explains why.

Our practices

  1. Every message is sent from a named employee’s individual mailbox on belugalabs.ai, through Google Workspace, with SPF and DKIM in place and DMARC at p=quarantine. The sender’s real name is in the From line.
  2. We write to business addresses the recipient or their company published, or that we verified against such a source. For a creator, that is their own platform profile or a page linked directly from it. We do not buy consumer lists, guess addresses, or send to addresses without a recorded source.
  3. Subjects state plainly what the message is. We do not use reply or forward prefixes, urgency language, or pretend we have spoken before.
  4. Messages contain no tracking pixels, click tracking or link rewriting. Any link points to a site we own. We do not use mailbox warm-up services.
  5. A proposal gets a small number of follow-ups, spaced days apart. If there is no reply, we stop.
  6. Every message tells the recipient how to opt out by reply. A request to stop is recorded immediately and honored permanently, across every address, sender, campaign and client. There is no unsubscribe link because a reply is the unsubscribe.
  7. No third party is authorized to send outreach on our behalf. Any such message is unauthorized.

Reporting

To report a message you believe violates this policy, or to opt out without replying to the sender, email abuse@belugalabs.ai. Forward the original message with its headers if you can. We read every report, reply to the person who sent it, and act on it within two business days.

Any Beluga employee or contractor who violates this policy can no longer send email for us.
